Step 1: Open Settings and Navigate to Your Info

  • Begin by opening the Start Menu and accessing the Settings app.
  • Click on the “Accounts” option, followed by “Your Info” at the top of the page.

Step 2: Manage Your Account

  • Click on “Manage Your Account,” and a new page will appear.
  • Choose the option to “Sign in with a local account instead” to create a new local account.

Step 3: Sign Out from Microsoft Account

  • Open the Start Menu, click on the user icon, and select “Sign out” to disconnect from the Microsoft Account.

Step 4: Delete Microsoft Account

  • In the Settings app, go to the “Accounts” section and click on “Your info.”
  • Select “Delete Account” to permanently remove the Microsoft Account from your laptop.

Step 5: Remove Account from Login Screen
